We were looking for a little known kite spot, natural and with guaranteed wind. We found it in Peru!  Still uncrowded, Paracas is a few hundred kilometers south of Lima, on the border of a nature reserve. The thermal wind arrives  almost always between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and lasts until sunset. In the morning, you can relax, paddleboard or explore the Ballestas Islands, home to hundreds of seals and thousands of birds. Before the wind starts there is also a cable park, dune buggy rides, bikes and more.
